TITLE: ADA ADAVE02035 Ada V3.5 for OpenVMS VAX ECO Summary
NOTE: An OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file is stored
on the Internet in a self-expanding compressed file.
The name of the compressed file will be kit_name-dcx_vaxexe
for OpenVMS VAX or kit_name-dcx_axpexe for OpenVMS Alpha.
Once the file is copied to your system, it can be expanded
by typing RUN compressed_file. The resultant file will
be the OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file which
can be used to install the ECO.

ECO KIT SUMMARY:
An ECO kit exists for DEC Ada V3.5-1 and V3.5-10 on OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2
through V7.2. This kit addresses the following problems:
Problems Addressed in ADAVE02035:
o Product images rebuilt, would not install on VAX/VMS V5.5.
o Compiler messages on terminal did not support OpenVMS Enterprise
Toolkit error browsing. Messages reformatted.
o Updated "DEC Ada Technical Overview and Comparison on DIGITAL
Platforms" online manual from other targets.
o Improved compiler error message for unexpected null package body.
o Compiler access violation in DFLO/FACT_ISKNOWN_LEQ when compiling
generic declarations with default parameters.
o Additional history comments in Motif bindings.
o Removed some uses of UNCHECKED_ALLOCATION in Motif bindings.
o Added missing modules ($CMBDEF) from Predefined package Starlet.
o Additional Ada 95 surrogate Predefined packages, released previously
on other targets.
o Removed incorrect alignment from type UNSIGNED_QUADWORD in
Predefined package SYSTEM.
o Programs doing memory allocation and deallocation can be slow, and
get incorrect storage_error exceptions.

Ada installations.)
