DEC Ada ADAAE23033 Ada V3.3 for OpenVMS Alpha ECO Summary
NOTE: An OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file is stored
on the Internet in a self-expanding compressed file.
The name of the compressed file will be kit_name-dcx_vaxexe
for OpenVMS VAX or kit_name-dcx_axpexe for OpenVMS Alpha.
Once the file is copied to your system, it can be expanded
by typing RUN compressed_file. The resultant file will
be the OpenVMS saveset or PCSI installation file which
can be used to install the ECO.

An ECO kit exists for DEC Ada V3.3 on OpenVMS Alpha V6.1 through V7.0.
This kit addresses the following problems:

o Documentation of DECC$SHR.EXE issue which forces DEC Ada compiler
access violation on OpenVMS 7.0. Partial compiler traceback:

INSTALLATION NOTES:
This kit requires DEC Ada V3.3 for OpenVMS Alpha to be previously
installed. This kit replaces several (but not all) components from that
kit.
It is recommended that you read the DEC Ada Release Notes before
installation.
The system/cluster does not need to be rebooted after this kit is
installed. However, Ada should be restarted in order for all kit changes
to take effect:
$ @SYS$STARTUP:ADA$STARTUP
