Yes ECO KIT SUMMARY: An ECO kit exists for Microsoft Mail Driver for DEC Mailworks, V1.0C. This kit addresses the following problems: o The problem with links to the server process being left open when the user exits Windows with Microsoft Mail running, has been fixed. o The length of the username field in the MR/MAILbus address template, has been increased to 32 characters. o When sending messages containing attachments other than type text from Microsoft Mail to VMSmail through MRGATE, the sending of the WINMAIL.DAT file should be disabled. This can now be done from the Mail pulldown. o If a message in your Inbox cannot be downloaded to the PC at connect time, a new folder will be created and the message will be moved into it. o Several problems with downloading/uploading messages have been corrected. o The problem with attempting to create temporary files with invalid filespecs has been fixed. o When entries returned from a directory search contain middle initials, those initials are now displayed in both the results window and in the Personal Address Book. o When entries returned from a directory search contain a location field, that field is now displayed in the results window. o The problem with the message time stamp displayed by Microsoft Mail being one hour slow has been fixed. o There is a new MSMAIL.INI file setting for emptying the server wastebasket on Exit. o The problem with automatic scraping of the Inbox has been fixed. o The ability to set 'Full' Read/Delivery receipts has been implemented. o Entries added to the PAB in this release will now be displayed lastname/firstname/initials. o The problem with multiple users of one PC being able to access individual .MMF files has been fixed. o Delivered mail is no longer being returned with a subject of "Undeliverable Mail". o Many of the CFC error messages have been expanded to give the user more information on what error occurred. o Updated communication modules have been added to the kit. INSTALLATION NOTES: This ECO Kit may be delivered electronically, as self-extracting archive files, or on media. Electronic: The two self-extracting archives should be renamed to have an .EXE file type and then extracted to 2 diskettes. C:\> RENAME MSMD10C1.ZIP MSMD10C1.EXE Switch to diskette drive and run the file: A:\> C:\MSMD10C1.EXE After creating the 2 diskettes, follow the installation instructions for media kits below. Media: Insert the first diskette, start Windows and from the File pulldown run the setup program, following the directions. A:\SETUP The standard product installation is the default.
