NVT205.ZIP /BIN Bytes: 16,422 NVT 2.05 - solves problem when logging out of an NVT connection to a PATHWORKS for OpenVMS (NetWare) server will give a "NVT - DISCONNECT RECV'D - Press any key" message, then hang when a key is pressed. The work around to this problem was to configure ODI adapter type instead of NDIS. This problem has been fixed in NVT 2.05. NVT 2.03 installed with SETHOST V6.0.10 fixes the TELNET coexistence problem so NVT and TELNET can be both loaded and not interfere with each other. When TELNET and NVT V1.99 (Novell Virtual Terminal emulator) are both loaded SETHOST won't connect and will appear to hang. TELNET and NVT V1.99 should not be loaded at the same time. To work around this problem unload TELNET (TN /UNLOAD) before using NVT and SETHOST. NOTE: 2- A memory conservation tip: you will need slightly less total available memory if you preload transports as follows (select only those required to be in memory concurrently): Transport Load Unload --------- ---------- --------------- LAT "LAT" "LAT /U" CTERM "CTERM" "CTERM /U" TELNET "TN" "TN /U" NVT "NVT" "NVT -Y"
