SAS software combined with these powerful new processors delivers some major benefits.
Intel's Extended Server Memory Architecture delivers enhanced 36bit support for greater memory-resident capacity and will provide new levels of performance to SAS software. By taking advantage of increased addressable memory, larger amounts of data can be held in memory for quicker retrieval and analysis than ever before on the NT platform.
Increased L2 cache size with a full speed (400 MHz) cache bus provides leadership in price/ performance. These improvements, along with the faster (100 MHz) system bus available in these servers provide a world-class platform on which to operate SAS software.

Factory integration
