OPEN DECconnect Super-5 Patch Panels are preconfigured with Digital's performance-leading Category 5 UTP modules. Available in 24, 48, and 72-port configurations, panels can be ordered loaded or unloaded for custom configurations. Each panel comes ready for flush mounting in a standard 19-inch rack with color-coded labels included.

Performance results

The critical parameters that affect performance of connecting hardware over a frequency range of 1 MHz to 100 MHz are near-end crosstalk, return loss, and attenuation. Of these, the most important consideration is near-end crosstalk. Digital's OPEN DECconnect Preconfigured Super-5 Patch Panels exceed the near-end crosstalk requirements for Category 5 as shown below.
