Eliminates the Need for a Docking Station

Digital's EtherWORKS PCMCIA Turbo and Turbo Plus adapters let you connect portable or personal computers with a PCMCIA Type II slot directly to the LAN. The beauty of these credit card-sized adapter cards is that they eliminate the need for a docking station. As a result, you save equipment costs -- as well as desktop space. Where data rates faster than external adapters are required, the EtherWORKS PCMCIA Turbo or Turbo Plus will transfer data on IEEE 802.3-compliant networks up to 10 Mbits per second.

Includes Software Drivers

Software drivers for connecting PATHWORKS, Novell(r) NetWare(r), LAN Manager, Windows(tm) for Workgroups, and VINES(r) (client) are included with the adapter. Once the drivers are loaded in the system, the adapter can be "hot swapped" -- without re-loading the drivers.
