This procedure is to update KGPSA-C (LP8000) to firmware version 392A2 on an Alpha Server 8200/8400. 





Do NOT use LP6DUTIL.EXE on these systems. The console will repeat characters when you try to input. On TurboLasers and GS series systems you must run LP8LDR.EXE to upgrade KGPSA firmware. The utility will ask you to hit return. It will then find any KGPSA's on the selected hose. It will ask you to hit "C"or"c"  to continue. This character will not echo. Also beware that LP8LDR may give the same repeating characters.
