Manually Update Console Firmware

Create Floppy Diskette #1

• mkboot.exe - to create a bootable floppy
• cru.exe - contains the Loadable Firmware Utility plus SRM console.

Create a Bootable Floppy from your PC

• Insert a FAT-formatted floppy into floppy drive
• Invoke MKBOOT to make cru.exe bootable from the SRM console (mkboot takes approximately one minute to complete)
    C:\ mkboot cru.exe

Create Floppy Diskette #2

• crarcrom.exe

Update Console Firmware

Insert the bootable diskette (Disk #1) into the floppy drive. Boot the floppy, from the SRM console, to invoke the Loadable Firmware Utility
