        1. Latest Firmware Update Revisions



             The latest Firmware Update Bootfile "AB1_V5_4.EXE" on this

             Alpha Systems Firmware CD contains the SRM Console V5.4, which

             has the following components (* = CHANGED since last release) :

                        

                        APU  5.4 

                        SRM  5.4 

                VMS PALcode  5.56-2

                OSF PALcode  1.46-2



        2. Firmware Enhancements and New Features



              Console V5.4 contains the following enhancements :



               - Support for Unix 4.0f added



        3. Firmware Anomalies, Restrictions, and Workarounds



                Note: If you are updating from a firmware revision

                      prior to V4.9 you must execute the following

                      console command:
