Acct (PCT)

DESCRIPTION
The "Acct" column displays whether accounting is requested for the "Transid"
or not.

VALUES
"Acct" has one of the following values:

'Y' - Accounting is requested for this transaction
'N' - Accounting is not requested for this transaction
'D' - Accounting request is controlled by the MCT transaction accounting setting

INTERPRETATION
If the Overview Screen's "SIT Acct" shows that global accounting is on, then it
is possible to generate transaction accounting records. The Overview Screen's
"TX Acct" datapoint (taken from the Sun MTP MCT) specifies the default request
(to request accounting record generation or not) value for those transactions
with a "Acct" value of 'D'. Otherwise, the 'Y' or 'N' value specifies the
accounting activity request for a particular transaction.

CONCLUSIONS
The value of 'Y' for "Acct" does not necessarily mean that Sun MTP generates
accounting records for a particular "Transid". The same condition applies when
"Acct" is 'D' and "TX Acct" is 'Y'. Accounting must be requested at both the
transaction and global levels in order for Sun MTP to generate accounting records
for a "Transid".
