Transid (Overview)

DESCRIPTION
The "Transid" displays the transaction identifier executing in a particular
Transaction Server.

VALUES
The "Transid" is either defined in the Program Control Table (PCT) or is
a Sun MTP system transaction identifier (e.g., CMNU).

INTERPRETATION
Sun MTP uses the PCT to map a "Transid" requested by the user to the appropriate
application program. Once the program has been requested, Sun MTP loads the
program into a Transaction Server for execution.

CONCLUSIONS
If problems occur in a transaction, this field identifies the "Transid" that
started the transaction. To get more information on a "Transid", have a look
at the PCT Screen. The PPT Screen shows data about the application program
for the "Transid".
