Termid (Overview)

DESCRIPTION
The "Termid" displays the terminal identifier for the transaction executing in
a particular Transaction Server.

VALUES
The "Termid" is a four character terminal identifier.

INTERPRETATION
An program specifies the "Termid" to an EXEC CICS statement.

CONCLUSIONS
The "Termid" identifies where a transaction was requested. If there is a
problem with a particular transaction, the administrator can look up the
"Termid" in Sun MTPScan's TCT Screen to determine the exact location and properties
of the offending terminal. Note that the "Termid" does not necessary identify
a physical device. The "Termid" is used internally by Sun MTP to identify a
connection, whatever it may be, to the system. The TCT Screen identifies the
type of connection and associated information to locate the source of the
problem.
