Chars In          (ISC Stats)

DESCRIPTION 
"Chars In" represents the total number of characters received by the local node 
from inbound intersystem communication (ISC) requests of a particular "Type". 


VALUES
The value of "Chars In" is an integer character count.


INTERPRETATION
"Chars In" shows the exact number of characters received for inbound ISC
requests of a specific "Type". This number is not an estimate. Note that, at
the moment, Sun MTP does not collect "Chars In" for the TR or SYS requests.



CONCLUSIONS
This datapoint can give you a general idea of the volume of data that is being 
transferred from a particular remote system to the local node for a particular
"Type" of ISC functionality.
