Req In (ISC)

DESCRIPTION
"Req In" represents the number of inbound intersystem communication (ISC)
requests from a particular remote system.

VALUES
The value of "Req In" is an integer count of requests.

INTERPRETATION
"Req In" consists of the number of inbound ISC requests that the local node has
received from a particular remote node, "RSys". The number is the total of the
"Req In" column values for all types of ISC as shown on the connection's ISC
Statistics Screen.

CONCLUSIONS
This datapoint provides a general idea of the number of inbound requests sent
from a remote node to the local node. To estimate the volume of data involved,
multiply "Req In" by "Avg In". The latter datapoint shows the average number of
characters per request. For a more accurate view, the ISC Statistics Screen
shows the exact number of characters transferred for each type of ISC request.
