Access            (ISC)

DESCRIPTION
The "Access" field describes the communications protocol access method
used to access a remote system for intersystem communication (ISC). 


VALUES
The "Access" name has a 7 character maximum length. It may one of the
following values:
                    Brixton  -> for SNA using Brixton
                    DCL      -> for SNA using DCL 
                    TCP/IP   -> for TCP/IP 


INTERPRETATION
This field indicates how ISC requests are sent to a remote system.
It corresponds to the "Access Method" field of entries in the TCT
System Entries table. Values of this field as represented in the 
"Access" datapoint are as follows:

                    blank    -> Brixton
                    DCL      -> DCL
                    TCP      -> TCP/IP     


CONCLUSIONS
Sun MTP will not allow a value other than blank, "DCL" or "TCP" to 
be entered into the TCT System Entries table.
