Write Time (DCT Extra, Intra)

DESCRIPTION
"Write Time" indicates the most recent time a record was written to a particular
transient data (TD) queue.

VALUES
The format of "Write Time" is hh:mm:ss. If there has never been an entry on a
TD queue, "Write Time" displays 'No Entry'.

INTERPRETATION
Sun MTP records the exact time when an application writes to a TD queue with a
WRITEQ TD command. Sun MTPScan grabs this value directly from Sun MTP.

CONCLUSIONS
Watch "Write Time" and "Read Time" over time to get an idea of a TD queue's
activity. Compare these values to the "Time" displayed at the top right corner
of the Screen. Because the number of "Items" on a TD queue shows only a snapshot
of activity, "Items" can be misleading or inaccurate depending on the Sun MTPScan
Update Interval set for a particular Sun MTP system (a small interval displays
more accurate data at the expense of incurring CPU overhead). The "Write Time"
displays a reliable value even if the WRITEQ TD executes in the middle of
a Sun MTP system's Update Interval.
