Trigger (DCT Intra)

DESCRIPTION
"Trigger" is a threshold value set for a transient data (TD) queue. When the TD
queue has "Trigger" number of entries in it, the Sun MTP system executes a
specific "Transid".

VALUES
"Trigger" is a numeric quantity between 0 and 99999. The administrator defines
the "Trigger" value for a particular TD queue in the Intrapartition Destinations
portion of the Destination Control Table (DCT).

INTERPRETATION
When a "Trigger" value is zero, Sun MTP never starts a "Transid". When the number
of entries on a TD queue reaches the "Trigger" value, Sun MTP starts the trans-
action specified by "Transid". In order for Sun MTP to start the transaction,
"Transid" must have entries in both the PCT and PPT.

CONCLUSIONS
This datapoint, along with "Transid" and "Dest Type", is only valid for an
entry in the Intrapartition Destinations portion of the DCT.
