Patch Installation Instructions:
--------------------------------

NOTE: Apply this patch only to PC-X versions 1.0 or 1.1.

(1) On the system where PC-X is installed, first exit Windows.

(2) Backup the following 3 files in your PC-X tree by renaming them:

      \SOLARNET\PC-X\X.EXE
      \SOLARNET\PC-X\KEYMAP.*
      \SOLARNET\PC-X\FONTS\MISC\FONTS.ALI

Note: \SOLARNET\PC-X is the PC-X default directory, if you have
installed PC-X in another directory, be sure to make the
appropriate substitutions for all file operations
	     detailed in this readme.

Install the patch files:

(3) X.EXE:

Copy patch file XMATH.EXE to \SOLARNET\PC-X\X.EXE

(Note: If you have a 386 processor with no coprocessor,
	          copy XNOMATH.EXE to \SOLARNET\PC-X\X.EXE, instead).

(4) KEYMAP.*:
Copy patch file KEYMAP.* to \SOLARNET\PC-X\KEYMAP.*

(Note: Use the KEYMAP file extension appropriate to the
country the patch is being applied for).

(5) FONTS.ALI:
Copy patch file FONTS.ALI to \SOLARNET\PC-X\FONTS\MISC\FONTS.ALI

Operational Notes:
------------------

After completing the installation steps above, restart PC-X.
PC-X will now be using the new X server executable.

Note:
-----

These issues are fixed in the next release of PC-X.
