Problem Description: 

1150178 --> Select system breaks if system time is changed using date command.


Patch Installation Instructions: 

As root, make a backup copy of the files that are to be patched:

   mv  /sys/`arch -k`/OBJ/kern_clock.o  /sys/`arch -k`/OBJ/kern_clock.o.FCS
   mv  /sys/`arch -k`/OBJ/sys_generic.o /sys/`arch -k`/OBJ/sys_generic.o.FCS

Now copy over the patched files:

   cp  `arch -k`/kern_clock.o  /sys/`arch -k`/OBJ/kern_clock.o
   cp  `arch -k`/sys_generic.o /sys/`arch -k`/OBJ/sys_generic.o

Rebuild your kernel, place it in the root directory and reboot your machine.
