It was found that 'dxarchiver' dumps core by
executing the following steps:

1. Start up dxarchiver
2. Enter "/etc" into Source field and press return
3. Press the Archive button to open up the "Archiver: archive" dialog box
4. Enter the destination filename as /var/tmp/a.tar and press
   the "Create Archive" button.
5. Press the "Clear" button when the archiving operation has finished.
