The patches in this kit are being released early for general customer use. Refer to the Release Notes for a summary of each patch and installation prerequisites. Patches in this kit are installed by running dupatch from the directory in which the kit was untarred. For example, as root on the target system: > mkdir -p /tmp/CSPkit1 > cd /tmp/CSPkit1 > > tar -xpvf DUV40D13-C0044900-1285-20000328.tar > cd patch_kit > ./dupatch 2 Special Instructions SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS for Tru64 UNIX V5.1B Patch C2094.00 This patch adds a new keyword to the sshd2_config configuration file for the sshd2 daemon. The new keyword, AuthInteractiveFailureRandomTimeout, adds a random delay to the existing AuthInteractiveFailureTimeout delay. See the sshd2_config man page for information on AuthInteractiveFailureTimeout. The AuthInteractiveFailureRandomTimeout keyword can take a value from 0 to 100 (in seconds). The default is 2. To disable AuthInteractiveFailureRandomTimeout specify a value of 0. When a non-zero value is specified for this keyword a random number of milliseconds up to the number of seconds specified multiplied by 1000 is added to the server delay specified by AuthInteractiveFailureTimeout. 3 Summary of CSPatches contained in this kit Tru64 UNIX V5.1B PatchId Summary Of Fix ---------------------------------------- C2094.00 Fix for SSRT071323 4 Additional information from Engineering None 5 Affected system files This patch delivers the following files: Tru64 UNIX V5.1B Patch C2094.00 ./usr/ssh/bin/scp2 CHECKSUM: 33847 1293 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/sftp-server2 CHECKSUM: 33994 1682 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/sftp-server2.static CHECKSUM: 52106 2758 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/sftp2 CHECKSUM: 52048 1343 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-add2 CHECKSUM: 41856 1836 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-agent2 CHECKSUM: 59102 1861 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-askpass2 CHECKSUM: 42779 216 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-certenroll2 CHECKSUM: 41568 1799 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-chrootmgr CHECKSUM: 35661 4 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-dummy-shell CHECKSUM: 49354 196 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-dummy-shell.static CHECKSUM: 20458 581 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-hostbased-setup CHECKSUM: 15263 4 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-keygen2 CHECKSUM: 28490 1824 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-probe2 CHECKSUM: 45182 232 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-pubkeymgr CHECKSUM: 07756 7 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-signer2 CHECKSUM: 27397 1858 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh-validate-conf CHECKSUM: 18494 8 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/bin/ssh2 CHECKSUM: 04053 2268 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/sbin/srcmd CHECKSUM: 25672 50 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/sbin/sshd-check-conf CHECKSUM: 52583 1785 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/sbin/sshd2 CHECKSUM: 36617 2286 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/shlib/libsshrcmd.so CHECKSUM: 37773 39 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 ./usr/ssh/shlib/libssht64p.so CHECKSUM: 59642 4486 SUBSET: OSFSSHBASE540 [R] UNIX is a registered trademark in the United States and other countries licensed exclusively through X/Open Company Limited.
