ECO KIT SUMMARY:

An ECO kit exists for DECnet/OSI V3.2A for Digital UNIX on Digital UNIX
V3.2.  This kit addresses the following problems. 

  o  This ECO is for systems acting as DECdns servers.  The corrections 
     included with this ECO greatly increase the reliability of the
     server, especially on multiprocessor systems.

     There are corrections in the following subsets:

        +  DNABASE (DECnet/OSI Base Components)
        +  DNANETMAN (DECnet/OSI Network Management)
        +  DNADECDNSSRV (DECnet/OSI DECdns Server)
        +  DNAPGMR (OSI Programming Tools)
 

INSTALLATION NOTES:

The DECnet/OSI V3.2A for Digital UNIX MUP (DNA321) must be installed
before the installation of this ECO. 

NOTE:  If DECnet/OSI is already installed on the system, you must run
       "decnetshutdown" and delete the existing subsets before
       installing the V3.2A MUP. 

Use the setld utility to install the subsets in this ECO.  

If this is an initial installation of DECnet/OSI, you may then 
continue with the normal configuration procedure.  If DECnet/OSI has
been previously installed, perform a decnetshutdown followed by a
decnetstartup to complete the installation.
