This patch fixes a problem where font selection in dtterm produces a 
corrupted output for LATIN-2 locales.   The ASCII characters change their
size while 8-bit characters keep their size.   This can be seen by excuting 
the following steps:
 Log in under Czech locale
     - Invoke dtterm
     - Select the smallest font (first entry in pull down submenu)
     - Invoke dxkeyboard
     - Select the Czech keyboard layout which correspond to your physical
       keyboard
     - Enter 5 characters from the first keyboard row (without shift)
     - Enter 5 characters from the second keyboard row (without shift)
     Output is corrupted (spacing and cursor width is in confusion)
