NOTE: In order to activate I/O throttling/smooth sync, you must install
      Patch 872.00.  These patches do not have dependencies on each other;
      this means the dupatch utility will not warn you if you do not
      select all of these patches.

NOTE: Smooth Sync is for UFS only.

Update your /etc/fstab entries to enable the selected mount options on
the selected UFS filesystems. These mount options are described in the
release note for I/O Throttling / Smooth Sync. See the Patch Summary
and Release Notes for further information.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIGITAL UNIX 4.0D Patch 1035.00 
WARNING! This patch provides the driver support for the Powerstorm
4D10T (ELSA Gloria Synergy) graphics card (SN-PBXGK-BB).  In order to
obtain full support for the Powerstorm 4D10T (ELSA Gloria Synergy) graphics
card (SN-PBXGK-BB), you must also select Patch 925.00, which is the
X server portion of the patch.

If you have a system with this graphics card, you will need to reconfigure
and rebuild the kernel after installing this patch.  To do this, boot
genvmunix and run doconfig without the "-c" option to recreate the kernel
configuration file and rebuild the kernel. See the Patch Summary and Release
Notes for further information.

WARNING! If you have previously installed PATCH 604.00, it is
recommended that you install PATCH 604.01 to correct a condition
that may cause a baselining error. See the Patch Summary and

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIGITAL UNIX 4.0D Patch 1086.00:
The vquotacheck command must be run on all AdvFS filesets after
the kernel with this patch has been booted.  Without running
vquotacheck, any existing quota corruption will not be fixed.
This patch will prevent corruption but will not correct it.
