Special Instructions for Patch 401.00 (enable nfs_server.o update in /vmunix)

WARNING: When this patch is installed, it must be enabled _BEFORE_ NFS is 
         started because it needs to perform some configuration operations 
         before client requests start arriving.

NOTE: This Patch NEEDS to be Re-Enabled after any Kernel Rebuild that
      includes this Patch.

Special Instructions for Patch 336.00 (new command, filterlog)

NOTE:  The binlogd daemon sends messages to the filterlog utility.
       The filterlog utility keeps track of correctable CPU errors
       and reports them when a threshold has been reached.

  syntax.


Special Instructions for Patch 406.00 (secure version of syslogd)

NOTE: The security of the syslog facility has been enhanced in this patch.
      Unless the domain host name of a remote host is entered in the local file,
      /etc/syslog.auth, the local system will not log any syslog messages
      from that remote host.

Special Instructions for Patch 418.00 (ldtty_drain_tmo needs to be longer) 

NOTE: When printing to slow printers using Digital UNIX LAT through 
      a terminal server, the end of a large file fails to print 
      and no error is reported.

      To obviate this situation, you may need to modify the kernel 
      global variable, ldtty_drain_tmo,
