ftp.zx.net.nz FTP Archive Index

This form lets you search the FTP index on ftp.zx.net.nz index using agrep regular expressions. The index is a list of all files found in ftp.zx.net.nz:/{pub,rom}. /pub is magnetic disk; /rom is a bank of CDROM disks. The index is generated nightly and includes last modified dates and file sizes.

agrep supports standard regular expresions, plus a boolean and operation `;' and a boolean or operation `,'. (The and and or operations cannot be used together.) Search queries are case sensitive.

Some examples

To search for pathnames containing both mosaic and alpha, use the search query mosaic;alpha.
To search for pathnames containing either VAX or VMS, use the search query VAX,VMS. (VAX|VMS will also work).

The index (ftp.zx.net.nz:/Index-byname) is currently 108 MBytes in size.

You probably want to avoid making queries for single strings like en-us or MISC, as you'll get several MBytes returned.
